I tried with blackbox instead of metacity and the seamless mode seems a bit
broken, but I do not get the same bug when returning to normal mode.  Blackbox
returns from seamless mode, but has problems going into it.

I also tried 2.1.0 with ati and kubuntu, but that has exactly the same problem.
