Summary: snow effect: too fast and not scaled on desktop grid
effect
Product: kwin
Version: unspecified
Platform: Compiled Sources
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kwin@kde.org
ReportedBy: g111@netcologne.de
Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources
If you activate the snow effect and then switch to the desktop grid (usually
ctrl+F8) the snow suddenly flies much too fast and wild.
Also the snow is not scaled regarding the desktop zooming. IMHO the snow flakes
that did cover desktop 1 should still only cover desktop 1 in the grid. The
problem might be that the you suddenly would need n-times of flakes for the n
desktops. This could slow down the machine. (Ok, maybe we define that the snow
is on the monitor and not on a desktop.)
