This is a KDED deadlock, but nothing in xsession-errors explains why.
We had a few known kded DCOP deadlocks in KDE-3.x iirc, usually related to
re-entrancy (e.g. kwalletd module) or just bugs in dcop....

kde-3.x is unmaintained now though, we have enough bugs to fix in kde4 already
:)
