While KDevelop doesn't support sessions (this is a separate feature wish)
katepart itself always supported changing the filenames associated with a
particular highlighting mode. You can find that in the Configure Editor dialog
under Modes&FileTypes (in KDE4 its in the Open/Save element). Even though it
says "filename extensions" it also supports specifying full filenames using
shell-globbing rules.
