Ok, we have the current situation:

-another arch Linux user can confirm this behaviour (so I confirm this bug)
-the application does not seem to crash but exit normally
-it looks like it does not appear in KGpg compiled from trunk but we can not find the \
                offending commit
-we spent whole sunday using gdb and valgrind on it without useful result

If anyone comes up with new ideas I would be happy to help out. For now I leave that \
bug open but will not work on that anymore until I have a clue what's actually going \
on.
