This is a forward of a bug entered by a user on Mandriva's bug tracker: \

When you have Firefox as default browser, running on for example desktop 2, and you \
click on a link in desktop 1 (for example in kmail), Firefox will be moved to desktop \
1.

According to the reporter, in KDE 3, the browser would remain on desktop 2, and the \
browser's entry in the task bar would start flashing. \
