The fact that both KWin and Compiz Fusion have the same issues suggests it's a driver \
issue, rather than KWin.  Desktop effects are a KWin feature, so it's unlikely to be \
plamsa at fault.

We've had lots of issues with nVidia binary drivers in the past, and there are some \
known problems even with the current versions (the lastest release being 173.14.12).

We've notified nVidia of several issues, but we can only wait and see if they fix \
them.

Marking INVALID, as it is almost certainly an upstream nVidia bug.
