Now i can confirm: i've installed firefox 3 and now i can disable the flashing \
cursor. After that all the problems was gone, with firefox and with openoffice. When \
i enable flashing cursor again, the problems come back.

I'm using KDE 4.1 with nVidia drivers 173.14.12.
