I have been using kde4 for a few weeks. konsole is the application i use the most. It \
seems every time i start konsole it opens up in a different size, which is very \
frustrating. I agree fully with the comment that konsole is a gateway to other \
applications and konsole has a million uses. I use konsole for tons of different \
tasks. I like the idea of saving a konsole size per profile. That way you can have \
konsole remember the start up size if the user wants, but also allow other users to \
specify a starting size for new konsole. I know it's difficult to please everyone, \
but a start up size in the default profile will please both groups of people. 

I firmly believe that konsole should start up in a consistent state. As a user, \
consistency is important.
