The diff feature works fine here. It would be good to find out wether the diff \
actually contains text from your files that are non-utf8 or binary data. Calling that \
svn function doesn't look right as we're not a commandline app and we're reading the \
strings directly from the SVN api doing the utf-8 conversion as needed (as subversion \
luckily returns utf-8 for almost everything).
