Regarding comment #2 I have the same problem: I don't even have a very large
font set – the KDE wide default is 9pt. But my screen has a high resolution,
so X runs at 128 dpi × 128 dpi. Please see the attached screenshot (scale the
image down if you have a lower resolution screen, to get an impression how it
looks for me). It shows kpercentage before the KDE control center font
settings.
