I just tested that, and it did work for me. (Using trunk, soon to be 4.1.)
I vaguely remember fixing a bug that after importing the update synchronisation was \
emitted for the wrong folder. Anyway I guess KDE 4.1 will hit debian/experimental in \
due time, so please retest and reopen if necessary.
