My vote is for a solution ala comment 122 - or that solution can be put on top of \
yours even still. Namely, a direct url/protocol to home relation looks like a \
relatively simple concept and is flexible at the same time - plus it could grow 1:1 \
with however many protocols konqueror can handle in any environment.

Konqueror's strong point is exactly that it can handle allot of protocols and having \
a home per protocol sounds sane to me, as all home now does is be 1 home loation.

One could argue over a home location based on string patterns in the url, so if you \
are using for example fish, you could even apply different home locations, meaning \
when you are on server #1 you have one particular home and on server #2 you have \
another home.

I will file a new feature request around this concept and see if it get's anywhere.
