I just tried again, and could reproduce neither in Kate nor KWrite. :(
That's before *and* after a svn up.
So it looks like the bug needs very specific conditions to happen. But when it was \
happening, I could easily reproduce it 4 out of 5 times so it's not a one-off. I'll \
get back to you if I see it again.

I type in english and bulgarian most of the time, I use kxkb to switch between the \
two. QT_IM_MODULE is not set. _______________________________________________
