Summary: Kate On Windows Doesn't Try to Open Files in Existing
Instances of the Program
Product: kate
Version: unspecified
Platform: Compiled Sources
OS/Version: MS Windows
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kwrite-devel kde org
ReportedBy: snesreviews hotmail com
Version: 4.0.80 (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: MS Windows
Not sure if this was left out of the windows release on purpose (to leave to the last \
for development reasons or limitations in the OS), but in my opinion, Kate is far and \
away the best text editor out there, and the windows version works 100% for \
everything I use it for... except opening files in existing instances of Kate which \
is the only thing holding me back from using it full time.
I tried using the command line option -u but I assume there are no command line \
options for the windows version. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
Frank
