This reads like you don't want to fix this in a less-then-optimal way because you \
feel that this will mean the technical problems will not be fixed.

If that is the case let me point out that this is incorrect.  Those technical issues \
will be looked into and refusing to provide something that people are asking for is \
not a smart in an open source setting.
