Summary: 'free() not declared in this scope' error when building
amarok with gcc 4.3.0 and glibc 2.8
           Product: amarok
           Version: 2.0-SVN
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: amarok-bugs-dist kde org
        ReportedBy: lvillani binaryhelix net

Version: 2.0-SVN (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc 4.3.0
OS: Linux

When trying to build Amarok on Fedora 9 (Sulphur) equipped with gcc 4.3 and glibc 2.8 \
compilation fails with errors like this:

[ 11%] Building CXX object src/metadata/CMakeFiles/amarok_taglib.dir/mp4/mp4file.o
/home/arbiter/Mess/Builds/amarok/src/metadata/mp4/mp4file.cpp: In member function \
                ‘virtual bool TagLib::MP4::File::save()':
/home/arbiter/Mess/Builds/amarok/src/metadata/mp4/mp4file.cpp:155: error: ‘free' \
was not declared in this scope

This happens probably because of changed headers layout so that stdlib.h isn't \
included at compile time. However I made a patch that addresses this issue. \
