Hi,

well, as said int comment 1 there is KNetworkManager and Solid for KDE4. It doesn't \
really make sense to retrofit this into KWiFiManager, the code differences would be \
too huge to put this into a maintenance branch. A lot of distros ship KNetworkManager \
by default also for 3.5 meanwhile. I really suggest you give it a try.
