           Summary: bash reverse search in terminal plugin disabled
           Product: kate
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kwrite-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: ugarro telefonica net

Version:           3.0.66 (using 4.00.66 (KDE 4.0.66 >= 20080313), compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.24-12-generic

On the terminal plugin, when one tries to do a reverse command search (ctrl+r), kate \
opens the search & replace dialog instead. The intention is to search on the terminal \
for old entered bash commands, but the app captures the key and opens the text search \
dialog instead. Maybe the defaults for this search could be changed? \
