If you switch on "show line numbers" how?

If you do it with Settings -> Configure Editor -> Appearance it should be preserved. \
If it isn't, that's a bug.

If you just do it with View -> Show Linenumbers then that's just a state in that \
particular view. This shouldn't be preserved. This isn't a bug.
