Summary: pictures copied to clipboard cannot be opened in gimp -
"no picture data"
Product: ksnapshot
Version: 0.7
Platform: unspecified
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: rich kde org
ReportedBy: bugzilla kerridis de
Version: 0.7 (using 3.5.9, Debian Package 4:3.5.9.dfsg.1-2 (lenny/sid))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-2.6.24.3.slh.6-sidux-686
I am not sure at all if this is a ksnapshot bug but because ksnapshot is involved I \
do report it anyway - it's up to you to decide:
When I take a screenshot with ksnapshot and copy it to the clipboard I'd expect that \
I can paste/open the picture in my favorite picture editing application, in this case \
The Gimp. Gimp can copy the content of the clipboard to a new picture (Shift-V) - but \
everytime I try to insert snapshots copied to clipboard with ksnapshot I get a \
message in Gimp that the clipboard does not contain any picture data.
