This happened after the move to Qt 4.4 Beta 1 (in qt-copy), and only when kwin compositing is enabled, but it doesn't seem like any effect in particular is causing it (still happens with all effects disabled). I'm running yakuake revision 780248 on a machine with a nvidia card using proprietary nvidia drivers version 169.12, but the the same bug was present with nvidia drivers version 169.09. Proper repainting can be triggered by filling the screen (e.g press enter until all the transparent lines are gone. Since I don't know whether this bug is caused by qt, nvidia, kwin or yakuake, i'm posting it here. See http://folk.ntnu.no/romnes/yakuake_qt44beta1_bug.png for a visual representation. :)
