you can't use a macro from a file that you don't inlcude, the C preprocessor will \
choke on that (except defines done on the gcc commandline). So either the file with \
the macro definition is #included or its visible via the buildsystem (for which there \
needs to be support then of course).
Not sure what you mean with "break correctly spelled macros", but if you make a \
mistake in typing a macro's name then that'll be an error reported via the problem \
reporter.
