Problem solved ?

I have the same problem here: composing is enabled on xorg, I have "direct rendering: \
Yes", and kwin is compiled with xcomposite option.

I can enable effets, but it does not work, and I get a: "Failed to create Scene \
object. Compositing disabled".

OpenGL is active, and I can use direct rendering, only kwin don't want to use it :'(
