I'm not a KDE developer, I'm just a guy who came up with this icky patch
independent of your problem, and attached my report to your bug.  My
patch won't work for you because your displays aren't mirrored like mine
are.

Hopefully this flawed patch will motivate the author to come up with a
better fix than I did :)
