I can confirm this too for 0.8.1 with KDE 3.5.7 running 2.6.22. I can see around \
15,000 wake-ups per second. It also uses far more CPU load than it should, and the \
strange thing is that this depends on other processes running: when running a low \
priority Folding Home-process, kftpgrabber grabs about 30%, but I only takes up about \
10% when I pause it. And when I also stop amarok, it drops another 5%. In all \
situations, the numer of wake-ups is more or less the same.

I do not remember this happening with the last version of kftpgrabber I used (don't \
remember what this was, but I could find it out if needed).
