From what I can reproduce, I believe this bug report was:

Dragging a color from the Color Palette to the main view, which should create a text box with the RGB code of the color, crashes KolourPaint.  This was due to unported text box rendering code, which has now been fixed.  KolourPaint/KDE4 should be fairly usable now.
