I'd like to say that locking files to work on them is not the usual thing to do with \
subversion.

Also I will close the second bugreport and just let this one cover both because \
they're closely related and if KDevelop supports locking it of course also needs to \
support not-editing files that are locked (though I don't know wether thats easily \
doable).

That said: This is something that might be done in KDevelop4.x
