Summary: Should fallback to IPv4 when IPv6 connection timeouts
           Product: konqueror
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konq-bugs kde org
        ReportedBy: nomis80 nomis80 org

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

When connecting to a website having an both an AAAA (IPv6) and an A (IPv4) DNS \
records, Konqueror first tries the AAAA record, which is good. However, if the \
connection can't be established (e.g. because of bad router configuration) then it \
should fallback to trying the A record. In a nutshell, it should loop over all \
addresses returned by getaddrinfo() until connect() succeeds. \
