So much talk about such a stupid thing! Who needs a home button at all? I don't. It \
is not in my toolbar. (All I have there is back, forward, up, search, bigger text, \
smaller text, padlock, location and animated logo. And I could even remove half of \
those buttons without missing them. I prefer shortcuts anyway.)

I do not see why bookmarks are not enough for everyone. Just let users add any number \
of custom bookmark buttons to their toolbars, each with a configurable URL, icon and \
tooltip. Problem solved.
