Hmm, Mozilla behaves like us on the 2nd site, too, so it's an IE-only quirk, I the \
site is relying on, I guess. Which is bad, since we're trying hard to be compatible \
with both :(

(On the JS fragment you pasted from the first site, Mozilla will simply error out, \
and hence let you type non-numbers in as well)
