Summary: Root folders/years should display all child images
           Product: digikam
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: victor.trac gmail com

Version: 0.9.2-final (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

This is related to organizing images independently of the underlying file structure. When images are in \
a nested subdirectory, e.g. /Trips/Spain, viewing the /Trips folder should include all nested directories \
/Trips/*. As it is now, this perspective results in only images directly under /Trips. This is also a \
problem under the Date view. Only months show actual images, whereas clicking on a Year will display no \
images, since all images are displayed under a month.
