I need only this simple behaviour:
debug_and_release with only release version compiled
This is useful because:
1) moc and object files are created in subdirs ("debug" and "release" dirs) instead \
of filling the project dir of unwanted files; 2) both debug and release makefiles are \
created so it is easy to compile the debug version without any modification to the \
.pro file (just a "make debug", or "make all" to compile both).
This is the default behaviour I have both with Windows (MinGW) and Linux if I write \
manually a .pro file adding only "debug_and_release".
Another thing: you say that QM removes release and/or debug if they are set, but I \
have both 'release' and 'debug' set and only 'debug' is removed. Isn't this a bug?
May be there is a bug in qmake, but please can you check it?
If I can help you in some way, let me know!
