The problem is that you have a playlist which is too large. When you log out of kde \
Amarok may be killed because it takes too long to save this information to the xml \
file. As a result, restoring the session means that the xml file is truncated and \
invalid.

The solution is to use a shorter playlist, which is what Amarok was designed for.

You'll also want to upgrade to 1.4.5 because there were numerous fixes and \
optimisations added for xml saving.
