I really think this is a real need!

I would like to suggest too that the attachment should be striped off and a small \
text about meta-data and possibly a link to the file saved in HD be saved in place.  \
Like telling the name, modified-date, size, etc..  This will be nice even to find the \
e-mails with attached data because the e-mail will keep something attached anyway. \
But not the huge Mb attached.

I think this should be an option to right click on emails and possibly a feature in \
options panel that can configure this to all.
