So you want a msg box popup whenever a file is opened via symlink that is already opened via the real name? I wonder how that wouldn't be annoying, I mean you can't just have a dialog which has this "don't ask me again" as then you're back to current behaviour. I'm more and more leaning towards a WONTFIX.
