Mandriva Free 2007 also has this issue, especially if you are using laptop power off \
button.

It is also noticed that the KDE does not save the session and simply just shutdown \
the laptop.

My suggestion is that can we allow the KDE to complete and close everything first as \
well as save its session before it shutdowns the PC? We set a timer for the inactive \
task and kill them upon timeout.
