I know this is marked as closed so I'm not sure if I should open a new bug report or \
just comment on this one, anyway (choosing the latter): I'm having this same problem \
running OpenSUSE 10.2 with the default RPM packages of: KDE 3.5.5
Amarok 1.4.4

Disabling crossfading stops amarok from crashing on a track change.
