Summary: integration of kmplot with latex
           Product: 1
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: 1
        AssignedTo: coolo kde org
        ReportedBy: rei3ner arcor de

Version: 3.4.2 Level "b" , SUSE 10.0 (using KDE Linux (i686) release \
2.6.13-15-default) Installed from: kmplot
Compiler: 1.2.0
OS: kmplot/general

The KmPlot program is great, however it would be very user friendly to be able to \
integrate plots directly into Latex documents. The reason for this whishlist is that \
in the latex world a tool like kmplot is missing
to integrate graphs of functions properly (i hate gnuplot!!!)
If KmPlot could be integrated with latex as described below, it would help a lot!

The following features are required:
 1-formulating labels as latex-text (e.g.$f_t(x)=\int...$).
2-export of kmplot pictures in a latex-friendly format
like eps.
3 -export should be possible in a batch mode
for old fashioned unixer's to write a makefile
that assembles pdf from sources just starting "make pdf".

A tool that works well this way is xfig.

Thank you (all) for your excellent work --
kmplot is already very useful for me,
but improvements are appreciated!

greetings

ernst
