This happens to me with only one torrent, but with that one torrent having many, many \
files and folders as I try to select only a few files from that list. Usually I'll be \
half way done unselecting whole folders when it will lock up for a few moments, then \
crash.
After this happens to me KTorrent will immediately crash every time I attempt to \
reopen it. The only way I have found to get it running again is to manually delete \
the torrent folder (tor#) in ~/.kde/share/apps/ktorrent or whatever you have selected \
as the "Folder to store temporary files." After deleting that folder, it starts right \
back up with no problems.
