Summary: Mute 'key' doesn't mute selected master channel.
           Product: kmix
           Version: 2.6
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: esken kde org
        ReportedBy: pupeno pupeno com

Version: 2.6 (using KDE 3.5.5, Kubuntu (edgy) 4:3.5.5-0ubuntu3)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-10-generic

I have a mute key in my keyboard that somehow executes a 'mute' function on kmix (I \
say somehow because it is not configured in any global shortcuts). I have re-set the \
master channel to be PCM instead of master. Changing the volume from the little \
window that opens when I click the traybar icon works correctly and so does changing \
it from the volume controls in the keyboard. But the keyboard mute button doesn't \
mute the chosen master channel (PCM) but the real (sound card) master channel.
