How to compare the results?

I use Konqueror. Each image in a tab. With Kview as image viewer. Zoomfactor at 400% \
(1600% for the unscaled 12pixel test image)

It's important to use kview-kpart because other image viewer kparts might apply it's \
own scaling filter (e.g. Gwenview) when viewing images at 400%.

Additionally Kview has the advantage *not* to flicker when swichting between the \
tabs.
