Got new qt-packages from SuSE today: 
qt-32bit-4.1.0-29.7.x86_64.rpm
qt-4.1.0-29.7.x86_64.rpm
At least for x86_64, the problem seems to be fixed.
No more crashes or invisible mail-bodies so far.
