Report #51250 describes a problem of where the inbox folder in the local, unused \
account is selected on startup. This is for obvious reasons cumbersome.

The fix, as seen in report #58120, was to make the user manually configure what \
folder to select on startup. However, this fix has two significant drawbacks: it \
requires the user to configure, and it makes the configure dialog more complex.

I believe there is a better fix for this problem: to select the previously selected \
folder on startup, as originally suggested in 58120. This solves the problem without \
having the user to manually do it, and the configure dialog is simpler.

The question is if is sufficient to replace the current solution. I believe it is, \
until someone provides significant scenarios, beyond that folders in an unused \
account is selected.

In other words, I see here an opportunity to improve KMail's usability and make KMail \
simpler. _______________________________________________
