Carsten,
I've experimented with kuickshow some more and found that this happens
for me regardless of whether the image contains EXIF information or not
and it happens in both windowed and fullscreen mode.
I'm attaching an image that causes the "effect" for me + my kuickshowrc...
I've also found that if you do the following:
1) press 'o' to see to original size of the image
2) press '9' to rotate it
3) press 'o' to see the original "rotated" size
everything looks OK..
This is the output of my "kuickshow --version":
Qt: 3.3.6
KDE: 3.5.4
KuickShow: 0.8.12
I am running Debian SID with following versions of libs kuickshow
depends on (versions of packages):
kuickshow 4:3.5.4-2
imlib11 1.9.14-30
kdelibs4c2a 4:3.5.4-3
libc6 2.3.6.ds1-4
libgcc1 1:4.1.1-13
libice6 1:1.0.1-2
libjpeg62 6b-13
libpng12-0 1.2.8rel-5.1
libsm6 1:1.0.1-2
libstdc++6 4.1.1-13
libtiff4 3.8.2-5
libungif4g 4.1.4-2
libx11-6 2:1.0.0-7
libxext6 1:1.0.1-2
zlib1g 1:1.2.3-13
Hope this helps...
Lukas
