Summary: copying tracks doesn't detect artist/album names
properly
Product: amarok
Version: unspecified
Platform: Compiled Sources
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: amarok-bugs-dist kde org
ReportedBy: frans.englich telia com
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
I selected Engage/Play Audio CD, which worked fine; the playlist was populated(track \
info was properly fetched), playback worked, and I set an album picture from amazon. \
The CD's title is:
Morricone, Ennio - Childhood Poverty
Once upon a Time in America
However, when selecting all playlist entries(ctrl+A), and Manage Files -> "Copy 19 \
tracks to collection...", it didn't work as expected. Destination preview shows \
"/home/frans/testing////2./2, I didn't change any settings. Simply clicking ok from \
there makes Amarok crash(sent to amarok-backtraces lists sf net)
If I select only one track, it doesn't fill in the artist/album info either. I don't \
really know what's supposed to happen, whether it will convert to ogg/info/wav(I \
guess wav, would prefer ogg), but in either case it 1) crashes; and 2) the info isn't \
filled out properly even though it do have it.
Frans
