Summary: Cover manager: abort button/progress bar gives invalid
feedback
Product: amarok
Version: unspecified
Platform: Compiled Sources
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: CollectionBrowser
AssignedTo: amarok-bugs-dist kde org
ReportedBy: frans.englich telia com
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
OS: Linux
In the Cover Manager window, three widgets gives feedback on cover fetching:
* The status bar("Fetching 2 covers... 1 cover found")
* The progress bar, "50%"
* The abort button. When enabled, it suggests that a job is running(which \
subsequently can be aborted)
All this together, seems to not be properly updated. Sometimes the progress bar \
simply says "0%", causing a psychological tension for that something is going \
on(while it is not, no cover fetching is going in). The message bar, and progress bar \
needs to be cleared and the abort button disabled when not fetching covers.
I believe this is reproduced by searching and selecting among covers.
Also, perhaps the abort button should instead be a red "x" button, in order to be \
consistent with the rest of Amarok's interfaces?
