Is there something special you have to do to make this happen? I created a file with \
a really long name and it seems to correctly ad a "..." in the middle to shorten it. \
This is on KDE 3.5.3 (SuSE 10.1 packages) and KDE 3.5.4 built from source, using the \
directory part.
