To reproduce:

Play a CD (Engage->Play audio CD)
Listen to music. CD spins at a reasonable rate during the music playing.
Wait for the CD to end, or press stop.

Result:

When the CD *stops* playing, it spins up, and continues spinning at probably the \
highest speed the drive supports (at least it sounds like that).

KsCD doesn't have this problem - it stops the CD correctly.
