don't know either but if we still have it with the latest KDE I wouldn't call it \
"fixed". The main point is that the behavior is really unstable. Sometime I can add \
an entry sometimes I can't. Start changing your menu heavily and see if ALL changes \
are applied. I can reproduce the error in about 2 - 3 tries, now probably even \
everytime. I found a directory where so far NO item is displayed in the menu.

No it is not fixed.
